Ersin Han Ersin

Ersin is a London based artist and director. He is part of London based experiential studio Marshmallow Laser Feast. Ersin’s art practice combines a wide range of disciplines including sculpture, installation, live performance, and virtual reality. His work focuses on the relationship between real and orchestrated experiences. Utilising computation and technology, he examines the functions and structure of nature, human perception, spatialisation and movement. Drawing influence from the fields of biosemiosis, contemporary dance and performance, his recent work investigates non-linear sensory experiences in virtual spaces. He has designed, directed and collaborated for the likes of New Movement Collective Nest, Imogen Heap-Me the Machine and Marshmallow Laser Feast’s In the Eyes of The Animal. Ersin’s work has been exhibited around the world including Lisbon Triennial, Istanbul Design Biennial, Sundance Film Festival, London, New York, and Shanghai. Ersin Han was born in Turkey, 1984, studied Visual Communication Design at Gazi University / Ankara. He studied for a master’s degree at Goldsmiths University, Computational Studio Arts, London.
